VIRSIG I.T. engineers are among the most experienced in the access control industry. We are a trusted name in secure high-assurance access control systems, serving both the public and private sectors. VIRSIG’s secure access technologies are consistent with Presidential Mandate HSPD-12.

 

We have provided access control technologies to sensitive and critical government facilities for agencies such as the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. We provide and service readers that offer FIPS-level CAC, PIV, biometrics and the TWIC standard. All of our systems are engineered and purpose-built at our national headquarters in Long Island, NY.

Our Access Control Leadership Team

Glenn Taylor, our Executive Director, is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in electronic access control, being involved with the electronics/security sector for more than two decades. He is a frequent trusted advisor to federal and local law enforcement agencies. Among his professional achievements is being the lead designer for an electronic security system and solutions utilized by federal and local law enforcement for the U.S. Presidential Debates (Obama/Romney), and again in 2016 (Trump/Clinton). Glenn has served as a panelist on a U.S. Congressional Roundtable on technology.

Kirklan Cameron is our Systems Engineer. Kirklan works with the federal government and industry high-assurance secure access control systems.

Shelomo Alfassa is our Director of Communication, and SME in Homeland Security, and serves as an active member of ASTM International’s Homeland Security Applications Committee, which develops domestic and international industry and government standards to address operational security controls relating to secured credentials, access control, and related integrated security control systems.
