VIRSIG Appoints Diversity & ESG Officer

27 July 2021 (Port Washington, NY) Shelomo Alfassa, VIRSIG’s Director of Communications, has been designated as VIRSIG’s Diversity & ESG Officer (Diversity, and Environmental, Social, and Governance). As the Diversity & ESG Officer, Shelomo will lead the development and implementation of proactive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in support of VIRSIG’s desire to create and maintain a working environment where all have an opportunity to succeed. Shelomo will champion the importance and value of a diverse and inclusive work environment and will actively engage employees on training initiatives that support diversity, equity, and inclusion. He will also manage VIRSIG’s workforce analysis and oversee compliance and best practices associated with federal and state Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity regulations. Focusing on diversity, is part of VIRSIG’s overall approach to a comprehensive ESG policy. ESG is a natural extension of both our mission – to become essential to our clients by providing differentiated products and services to help them achieve their needs – and our commitment to always doing what is right. He is a former federal employee, and holds a BA and Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from American Public University, and a postgraduate professional certificate in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School.
