VIRSIG SELECTED BY STATE OF NEW YORK AS AUTHORIZED SECURITY SUPPLIER
Awarded Intelligent Facility and Security Systems and Solutions Contract
VIRSIG, LLC., announced today that it is one of the vendors selected by New York State to provide security technology and services under the new Intelligent Facility and Security Systems and Solutions contract. This highly competitive contract enables authorized users—including state agencies, local governments, municipalities, and higher education institutions—to bypass using their own procurement process and readily acquire security technology and service pursuant to an Office of General Services state centralized contract.
The contract certifies that VIRSIG is a vetted, licensed and state-approved security vendor and simplifies services procurement for New York State authorized users by significantly reducing the length of the bidding processes.
“We have extensive experience working with all phases of the public sector, from Education, Law Enforcement, to Healthcare,” said Glenn Taylor, Executive Director of VIRSIG. “Now, with a NYS OGS contract, our New York State partners will be able to more efficiently take full advantage of our comprehensive security technology and support services,” Taylor said. Brian Valenza, VIRSIG’s CEO added, “We've assembled an impressive line of security technologies to support our clients through this contract.”
VIRSIG’s contract: Solicitation 23150, Group 77201, Award, PT68881 – Intelligent Facility and Security Systems and Solutions, is effective January 2020-August 2024. More information can be found here: www.virsig.com/gov.
