VIRSIG Celebrates One Year Anniversary With Reception

Virsig, LLC., a platinum performer in the national physical and electronic security industry is celebrating its first anniversary, and repositioning itself in order to continue to provide high quality services into the next decade.

Over the last year, Virsig delivered strong operating results, executed its growth strategy, and was recognized by the business industry. While increasing its presence and business focus, Virsig was honored to have been chosen as one of three finalists for ‘Best New Tech Startup’ by the American Business Awards. Additional initial-year achievements include becoming a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business; and providing technology and security support to both the 114th U.S. Women's Amateur Golf Championship and the New York City Marathon.

On the occasion of its anniversary, Virsig held a reception at its headquarters in Queens, New York. Among the guests in attendance were representatives from New York City Councilman Costa Constantinides office, representatives of Congressman Joe Crowley’s office, and the New York City Police Department. In a commemorative letter presented to Virsig, Congressman Crowley said, “I am grateful for your commitment to keeping New York safe, and for your extraordinary hard work, I am more than proud to count your business amongst my constituency."

The Virsig leadership discussed cyber-security issues with the guests and the positive economics of launching a business in Queens. Brian Valenza, co-founder of Virsig and former US Naval officer and Navy SEAL, discussed how Virsig was a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.

Along with a strong team of founders, Virsig’s executive team is moving toward the future with products and services which Virsig excels in—I.P. computer network monitoring and management, with a strong focus on security video management systems.
