On the evening of 21 October 2021, VIRSIG held a sunset networking event on the waterfront in Washington, D.C. This was a complimentary networking get together held at The Wharf.

This event was in association with the National Capital Region Security Forum (NCRSF), an organization that brings together security professionals throughout the D.C. metro area and those associated with the industry. The NCRSF is a non-profit organization, and has a cooperative alliance with the Security Industry Association (SIA) to promote the security industry and work together to make the world safer.

Discussion was made by Brian Valenza (VIRSIG’s CEO and co-founder), and Kim Workman, PSP (Manager of Security System Administration for the Smithsonian Institution). Some of the representatives in attendance included: Avigilon, Comsec, Gibraltar Perimeter, Integrated Systems Technology, Motorola, and Stanley Security. Several former federal agency subject matter experts also attended, including from the General Services Agency (GSA), Small Business Administration (SBA), and the State Department.
