John Martino
Southeast Regional Director
John Martino serves as VIRSIG's Southeast Regional Director. He is responsible for several areas that are pivotal to VIRSIG’s growth and long-term success, these include executing enterprise growth initiatives; delivering on key strategic initiatives that achieve expected returns on investment; and ensuring VIRSIG’s financial stability and strength with oversight of operations in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina and Texas.
John holds three state security licenses, including Florida, Georgia and North Carolina; and he has over three decades of industry experience, working on all aspects of physical security. He started with a career as a security installer, worked in operations, working his way up to Senior Director of Operations. Prior to John’s tenure at VIRSIG, he worked for an international communications company where he developed and implemented their national security standards.
John is originally from Long Island, where he served his community as a volunteer firefighter for 10 years for the City of Glen Cove. As VIRSIG’s Southeast Regional Director, John oversees and coordinates the company’s business activities in the US Southeast from VIRSIG’s office in South Florida, where he resides with his family.
