Brian Valenza

CEO

Brian Valenza is the Chief Executive Officer of VIRSIG. Brian has extensive commercial venture and security experience. He is a ‘hands-on’ person who has personally conducted or managed security operations in over 25 countries around the world. This includes in 2018, directing a VIRSIG detail which included the protection of a former U.S. Secretary of State.

 

Brian had an extensive military career. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, he went on to have a distinguished career serving as an Officer in the SEALs, supporting the objectives of the Global War on Terrorism. He served on the ground in several countries, including Iraq. Brian spent his final tour of duty as a Program Manager in the​ Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) / Special Warfare Division at the Pentagon.

 

Brian oversees VIRSIG's long-term business strategies and daily business operations. He is often called upon to conduct threat analyses and discuss security vulnerabilities with corporations, high-net-worth individuals, and celebrities. Brian has appeared on Fox News, spoken at John Jay College of Criminal Justice; Syracuse University; and at national conferences such as the Suits & Spooks Conference on intelligence and industry. 

 

Brian's heritage includes being part of the Native American Cherokee Nation. In his spare time, he contributes to supporting charitable causes and organizations, such as the Navy SEAL Foundation. Brian stays fit through triathlons, cross fit training, and enjoying ocean diving.
